The school is run by Armed Police Force occupying 5.594 hectares of land amidst hills and preserved forests intensifying greenery and serene atmosphere on a hillock 10 kilometres to westward from Kathmandu valley.

It aims to inculcate good values and norms in children side-by-side gives formal and modern education that cultivates spiritual knowledge as well which is believed a necessity for proper balance between materialistic and spiritual knowledge to meet the pace of the time.
THE COMPLEX
The school has three separate newly built structures e.g. academic block, administrative block and residential block with a dinning hall for the Children.

CO-CURRICULAR & EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Education today means all-round progress of the child i.e., mental, physical, social and vocational. This cannot be achieved only through bookish knowledge or by games and sports; hence, are other co-curricular activities as well given importance at par. Children divided in four Houses (Crimson, Blue, Green and Yellow) participate in various activities representing their respective houses.

FACILITIES
The school has been equipped with computer lab, library, well-furnished dormitories, fully treated drinking water, hot showers and infirmary attended by doctors and health assistants, ambulance (in case of emergency) and playgrounds like modern facilities. In addition, a playroom has been set up in consideration of indoor games. Trained wardens, sports teachers, and charladies look after the children.

ECONOMIC PERSPECTIVE:
This school is financed by the organization itself of its funds raised from various charity programs of APF Women’s Association, contribution from United Nations missions returnee APF personnel, APF welfare undertakings like petrol pump and etc.  

TARGET GROUP:
Wards of APF personnel especially conflict deceased, the rural neighbourhood of the locality and simultaneously the under privileged of the society are focused onto.
