Personnel for recruitment intakes are at four different levels. The lowest starts from the non-combatant rank of NCES. His job nature comprises of trade class to assist in daily chores posing as cook, cobbler, and barber like important hands for the infantry troops. This trade personnel do not get any promotion throughout the career however should his age fall within the bar for enrolment in infantry, option remains there for him.

The lowest combatant group personnel regarded, as the constable is the biggest component of the infantry body for which minimum, high school level education is the mandatory requirement. The enrolment for officer rank is of junior non-commissioned (non-gazetted) regarded as the Assistant Sub-Inspector that requires certificate level education from college. The biggest rank for enrolment is of the commissioned (gazetted) officer regarded as Inspector that demands bachelor level diploma.
